Claire Moore is an allied health clinician-scientist with over 16 years of experience as a paediatric pharmacist, including a decade in the Children’s Cancer Centre. She holds a Master of Pharmacy Practice and is interested in paediatric oncology treatments and toxicities. Claire is a third-year PhD candidate under A/Prof Rachel Conyers and Prof David Elliott at the University of Melbourne and a recipient of a prestigious RTP Scholarship. Her PhD focuses on implementing pharmacogenomics (PGx) in paediatric oncology, including leading Australia’s first paediatric oncology randomised controlled trial of pre-emptive PGx testing.

She pioneered the trial’s implementation in Victoria, established governance frameworks, and introduced the MARVEL-PIC multi-disciplinary PGx meetings, which she chairs to ensure safe, patient-centred delivery of clinical PGx results.
