
Dr Julian Stolper is a trained stem cell and molecular biologist. His expertise spans genetics, oncology, cardiac biology, and drug discovery, with a particular focus on understanding and preventing cancer therapy-induced toxicities. He completed a Master of Science from the University of Heidelberg in Germany, and his PhD at the University of Melbourne in 2021, and has since established himself as both a researcher and program manager in the Cancer Therapies group at the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute.
His work has led to advances in drug discovery, including the completion of large-scale compound screens and the development of imaging technologies to assess chemotherapy effects. He collaborates broadly with national and international partners, building strong interdisciplinary links to accelerate translational research.
