Nader Eloshaiker’s daughter was diagnosed with B-Cell acute lymphoblastic leukaemia, and she is now in remission.

Nader Eloshaiker’s daughter was diagnosed with B-Cell acute lymphoblastic leukaemia when she was 11 years old and received a bone marrow transplant as part of her treatment. Now in remission at 15, she inspires Nader’s work with the PFAC to improve childhood cancer treatments.

Nader brings to the Patient and Family Advisory Committee his lived experience with advocating for novel treatments for his daughter’s cancer. As a software engineer, he is passionate about leveraging technology for cancer research.

Nader has also contributed to the James Lind Alliance Bone Marrow Transplant in Paediatrics Priority Setting Partnership, the PICS Advisory Board for cancer patient registries, and Dr Catherine Carmichael’s acute myeloid leukemia research at the Hudson Institute of Medical Research.
