David O’Reilly

BSc MHumNutr

There were two pivotal moments in David’s life: hearing that his daughter had cancer, and hearing that she was cancer-free. As unprepared as David was for cancer, he was even more unprepared for the long-term impact it would have on his family, the blessings and challenges.

Before joining CoLab’s Patient and Family Advisory Committee (PFAC), David spent 16 years across various research projects at Monash University, then moved into marketing technology at Microsoft, and is currently in martech consulting.

David is a curious, innovative, solution-finder at heart who loves to share knowledge. He has lived experience not only as a cancer parent but also within academic research. He deeply understands the needs of families and research organisations and looks forward to putting both to great use within the PFAC.
