Mary Tsouvalakis

Mary Tsouvalakis was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s disease when she was 16 and relapsed when she was 23. Since her cancer diagnosis over 30 years ago, Mary has established a legal career, travelled the world, and pursued an interest in the Arts.
Mary has a successful career in law and is currently Managing Principal Solicitor, Corporate Legal Advisory at the Victorian Department of Health. Her legal experience spans two decades, advising private and public sector clients on all aspects of commercial law and commercial litigation, with a focus on providing legal advice to the health and medical sectors. Aligned with her interest in public health, Mary also serves on the Board of Melanoma and Skin Cancer Trials.
In addition to her legal career, Mary has travelled the world and founded Exedra Entertainment, which has brought world-class European artists to Australia, including the 215-member Greek National Ballet Company and Opera, and recently, an international DJ and violin virtuoso.
