Megan Baiocchi

Megan Baiocchi is a senior health leader with over a decade of experience designing and delivering large scale, multidisciplinary programs across government, not-for-profit, and international contexts. Her work is distinguished by a strong focus on health equity, system impact, and collaborative leadership, particularly for young people affected by cancer and for LGBTQ+ communities.

An allied health clinician by background, Megan is currently Head of Youth Cancer Services at Canteen Australia. In this role, she provides national leadership for a multimillion-dollar, federally funded initiative delivering age-appropriate cancer care across more than 25 hospitals. She oversees service design, quality improvement, and cross-sector collaboration to ensure gold-standard care for adolescents and young adults with cancer. Through evidence-informed advocacy and strong stakeholder engagement, she secured extended Commonwealth funding and led delivery of the Global Accord Congress, strengthening Australia's international leadership in youth cancer innovation.

Previously, Megan was International Development Director at Starkey Hearing Foundation, where she established more than 15 sustainable, community-based hearing care programs across the Asia Pacific region. She has also served as Head of Community Partnerships and Priority Populations at ACON, leading major initiatives with the Cancer Institute NSW to improve cancer screening, prevention and smoking cessation outcomes for LGBTQ+ communities.
