Dr Sarah Stewart

BSc (Hons) PhD

Dr Sarah Stewart is a cellular and molecular biologist with over 10 years of experience in biomedical research. She brings a strong foundation in research leadership, stakeholder engagement, and program coordination, alongside a passion for clear and impactful scientific communication. Dr Stewart has worked across leading national and international research institutes and has been awarded two prestigious fellowships - an ARC DECRA Fellow at La Trobe University and a BBSCR Future Leader Fellow at the University of Cambridge, UK. At the Children’s Cancer CoLab, she is driven by a commitment to advancing clinical outcomes through collaborative science, strategic insight, and real-world impact.

In addition to her work at Children’s Cancer CoLab, Dr Stewart is also an advocate for science communication and education, especially in early learning environments, bringing the joy of science to the smallest of learners.
